Article Submission

  • Categories: Guest posts should fall into one of the following categories: exercise, fitness, health, and well being type news.
  • Length & Content: News articles should fall between 700 – 1,500 words in length, and should contain actionable advice or detailed insights, and should be written to presentable standards.
  • Author: The author of the post should be a the original writer or otherwise connected to the health industry (e.g. nurse, coach, trainer, doctor). Any and all individuals interested in health are welcome.
  • Purpose: The focus of the article should be to inform or inspire the library reader. Any articles stuffed with self-promotion will not be considered, though the occasional link (limit to four) to a helpful article or resource is a-okay.
  • Formatting: Articles featuring lists, headers, bullet points, and/or other engaging formatting are preferred.
  • Availability: Articles should be unique to ExerciseLine. They should not be published elsewhere online, though you’re welcome to put the article on your own site with a link to exerciseline.com.
  • Self-Promo: Not necessary, but if you wish please include a brief bio with your article that contains a headshot and links to your website, social media, and/or available books, services, or resources.
  • Articles: published on Healing TaiChi’s website will be under a Creative Commons license, whereby work can be quoted or reproduced elsewhere as long as it is properly attributed and linked back to healingtaichi.com, and as long as it is not reproduced for commercial use. 
  • Writer’s are strongly encouraged to provide one or more images for their post. We prefer photographs that can be in gif, png, jpg or jpeg format.
